Yuri Klaz and the choir of First Mennonite Church warmly invite you to their presentation of the passion oratorio by Carl Loewe, Das Suehnopfer des neuen Bundes.  This dramatic oratorio tells the story of Jesus' capture, arrest, mock trial and execution with excerpts from all 4 gospels.   Many of you will remember hearing it performed or have performed it yourself as this work was the hallmark of FMC choral singing for many years.  Das Suehnopfer will be presented on Good Friday at 7pm. with orchestra and soloists at the church at 922 Notre Dame Avenue.  An offering will be taken.
