Camp Moose Lake Update: Over the past year the Interim Camp Moose Lake Committee has been working on the purchase of CML. Due to some small delays the possession date was pushed back to Sept.1, 2016 and as a result MC Manitoba operated the camp this past summer. Today SMC finds itself in a state of unrest and as a result the committee has chosen to delay the purchase. We have no idea how things will settle out at SMC. As a result we are not able to make a new possession date for the camp. MCM has a mandate to sell the camp and will look at their options.       Kevin Pankratz, Interim Camp Moose Lake Chair
The Bursary Committee is now accepting applications from summer camp workers and those attending a post-secondary Christian school this fall.  Forms can be picked up in the church office.

Welcome Visitors

Thank you for worshipping with us this morning. If you are visiting with us, we welcome you and would like to get to know you. We invite you to introduce yourself to us at the Welcome Centre. Some basic information about our church is available to you there.

Praise God for this summer’s Mennonite Disaster Service & Mennonite Church Manitoba partnership project at Camp Assiniboia, where four all-season cabins were built! The MDS FAMILY PROJECT involved 23 families (41 children), 12 individuals and 3 camp staff. Kitchen, dining, fellowship facilities and accommodations were graciously provided by Springstein Mennonite Church. Thank you! …to all who served and provided!

The cabin exteriors are complete, but interior drywall, mudding & painting, wainscoting, floors, washrooms and kitchenettes need volunteers to finish before October 30, when they’re booked!!

Volunteers, whether from MDS, Manitoba Churches, or as individuals are encouraged to call Peter Enns, Camp Maintenance Director, at 1-204-451-0867, to arrange a suitable work schedule… Serving in Jesus’ name!
