Important Announcements from Vision Council:

 1)  Our Sunday morning schedule will be slightly altered on a trial basis until July and evaluated before September.  The following timetable begins on Sunday, April 2.

      9:30 - 10:30 a.m. ~ Sunday School for all ages

2)  SMC Budget Membership Meeting on Sunday, April 2 at 12:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Sun. April 2, Darryl Loewen, Exec. Dir. MCC Manitoba will be our guest speaker.  Vision Council invites you to a potluck lunch in the kitchenette following the service.  It will be an opportunity to continue conversation with Darryl Loewen.

SMC Deacons update: We have two deacons at present, Helga Froese and Bev Unger. Please contact either one with any special health concerns. We are looking for a rides coordinator. Contact Pastor Victor for more info.

·         Adult Sunday School course: Starting this morning, we are offering the 7-week course "The Bible, the Faith Community, and Understanding our Sexuality." We are reviewing biblical perspectives on our sexuality, with particular focus on same-sex relationships. The schedules for this course are in your church mailboxes and available at the Welcome Centre. The class meets in the sanctuary; other classes will not be meeting separately during this time.

2.       CMU Open House, Wednesday, March 29: Be part of a grade 9–12 student ‘come and go’ Open House to explore programs and opportunities at CMU. Join a campus tour (scheduled every 30 minutes), participate in a class, meet professors and current students, and enjoy free gelato. Parents welcome. Drop in at Marpeck Commons (library and bookstore commons at 2299 Grant Avenue) anytime between 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM.
