CHURCH FAMILY INFORMATION

We pray a blessing for Ben & Helen Funk as we honour their request to be released from their membership at SMC.

Sincere thanks to everyone who helped make last Sunday's farewell for Victor & Val Kliewer such a success.  This certainly includes Abe Wiebe who skilfully built the congregation's gift of a Peace Pole and Antje Dueck who supplied fresh cut flowers to enhance our potluck lunch!

We are busy planning our adult education program for the fall period. As we do that, we want your input. Please respond either to the survey form you have been sent or fill out the form at the Welcome Centre.

Arkbuilders are planning to see the production “Come from Away" on Jan. 18 at MTC. This is the story of the planes landing in Gander Newfoundland on 9-11. If you want to know more about this story, our church library has the book by that title (Channel of Peace by Kevin Tuerff).  Arkbuilders are inviting anyone who is interested to join them. We are hoping to get a full bus .Everyone is responsible to purchase their own tickets. Please let Marie Rempel know if you are interested in joining the group. Tickets can be purchased at 1-204- 942-6537. Tickets are selling fast.

There is a 75th anniversary display in the Multipurpose Room.
