CHURCH FAMILY INFORMATION

An invitation from our new pastor. “I am delighted by all the folks that have stopped by the office in the past few weeks and am enjoying the visits and conversations. I also want to extend an invitation to everyone in the congregation to stop by the church for a coffee or just to say hello. If you can't make it out to the church during the week, don't worry, my hope is to contact each family over the next year to set up more intentional visits. I am looking forward to getting to know all of us.”

“We want to express our appreciation to you as a congregation for your gracious acceptance of us during this past year and allowing us to share in your congregational life. We have also deeply appreciated the friendships we have been able to build! Thank you, in particular, for the beautiful peace pole as a farewell gift; it will be a gentle reminder of our time at SMC!”        Victor & Val Kliewer

A big thanks goes out to Rudy & Sue Nikkel for patching and painting the former SCO room (newly dubbed The Lounge).

MC Canada Assembly Registration is open! You are invited to the Oct. 13-15 special 2017 Assembly in Wpg. Please contact Pastor Lee or the church office by Sept. 1st if you’d like to be a delegate.

We pray a blessing for Ben & Helen Funk as we honour their request to be released from their membership at SMC.

We are busy planning our adult education program for the fall period. As we do that, we want your input. Please respond either to the survey form you have been sent over email or fill out a form at the Welcome Centre.
