Church Bulletin

Third Advent “Let it be whole”   December 17, 2017 – 10:45 a.m.

Focus Statement: Rejoicing in God’s comfort, we catch God’s vision of shalom. We choose to covenant with the Spirit that is already at work restoring and rebuilding us into God’s faithful followers. Just as Mary responded with a resounding yes to God’s call on her life, we too seek to align ourselves with God’s purposes and live out God’s call in our lives.

Welcome and Call to Worship

Leader: Awake! The invitation to carry light comes from the God of restoration.

All: O God, you amaze us with your promise to build up the ancient ruins. You say you will replace the ashes of the past with garlands of beauty. Your bold vision dazzles our doubting souls.       (Pause for silence)

Leader: Calm our questioning.

All: Lead us beyond our fears, and guide us on the path of peace.

Leader: Let it be whole.
